Contact
The fastest way to reach Shannon.ie is by email: editorial@shannon.ie. That address goes to the editor, who reads every message and replies to most of them.
Use the contact address for corrections, tips, partnership inquiries, or questions about the site's editorial policy. If you spot a mistake in an article, include the full URL and a short note explaining what is wrong. If you have a story idea or a question about coverage, describe it in a few sentences.
Shannon.ie does not have a phone number, a physical office, or a customer service team. The site is run by one editor, and email is the only reliable way to get in touch. Messages are usually answered within one or two business days, Monday through Friday.
If you are writing on behalf of a business, agency, or community group, say so in the first line. Shannon.ie does not accept payment for editorial coverage, but it does cover local organizations when they are relevant to the site's audience. A clear, factual pitch is more likely to get a reply than a press release written in marketing language.
If you are reporting a technical problem (broken link, missing image, page that will not load), include the URL and a description of what you see. Screenshots help. The editor will investigate and fix the issue if it is on the site's end.
Shannon.ie does not reply to spam, link-exchange requests, or automated outreach. If your message looks like it was sent to a hundred other sites, it will be deleted. If you are a real person with a real question, write like one.
Messages sent via the contact form are not added to a mailing list or shared with third parties. The editor reads the message, replies if needed, and deletes it when the conversation is finished. Your email address is not stored in a database or used for marketing.
If you do not receive a reply within three business days, check your spam folder. If the message is not there, send a follow-up. Occasionally an email is lost in transit or caught by a filter, and a second attempt usually gets through.
