The Shannon area is easily reached. Shannon International Airport is the easiest way to reach us. It is approximately a 20 minute drive from Ennis travelling on the N18. The nearest village, just 4km to the east, is famous Bunratty with its castle, medieval banquets and folk park. Limerick City is 20 minutes drive travelling on the N18 Limerick bound. If you are coming from County Kerry, the Shannon Ferry is perfectly located connecting Tarbert in North Kerry to Killimer just 50 minutes from Shannon. Shannon is one and a half hours drive time from Cork Airport and ferry port, and about three hours from Rosslare, Dun Laoghaire and Dublin ferry ports. The Shannon area has good rail and bus connections and a network of roads which are a ideal for the motorist or cyclist.
