Shannon.ie - Town Council Annual Meeting Minutes 2005

Minutes of the 2005 Annual meeting of the Shannon Town Council held in the Shannon Town Hall at 6.30 p.m. on Tuesday June 28th 2005. Councillor Greg Duff, outgoing Meara Bhaile chaired the initial part of the meeting. resent were Cllrs. Mulcahy, McCarthy, Flynn, Lambert, McLoughlin, McKee and McMahon.

18/06/05 Adjournment of Meeting.

Proposed by the Meara Bhaile, seconded by Cllr. Lambert and resolved:-
“that in sympathy with Cllr. Mulcahy on the recent death of his father,
Richard Mulcahy, the Annual Meeting be adjourned for fifteen minutes.” The meeting reconvened at 6.45 p.m.

19/6/05 Election of Meara Bhaile

Proposed by Cllr. McLoughlin and seconded by Cllr. McMahon:-
“that Cllr. Tony Mulcahy be elected Meara Bhaile”
As there were no other proposals the Chairman declared Cllr. Mulcahy elected.

At this stage Cllr. Mulcahy, newly elected Meara Bhaile took the chair.

20/6/05 Election of Leas Meara Bhaile

Proposed by Cllr. Flynn and seconded by Cllr. Duff:-
“that Cllr. Tony McMahon be elected Leas Meara Bhaile.”
As there were no other proposals the Chairman declared Cllr. McMahon
elected.
